Excursions Terms and Conditions

All reservations will be on a ‘first come first served’ basis.  

Each person can reserve a place only for themselves and one other during any one call.

Once it has been confirmed that a place has been reserved for you, payment must be received by post at our offices within 7 days for this to become a confirmed booking.   Payment can be made by sending either a cheque or postal order.  

Receipts are not automatically sent out, so if you do require a receipt then please send a stamped addressed envelope with your payment and a receipt will be returned to you.

You are advised not to take your own scooter on an excursion due to space limitation.   Scooters and wheelchairs are often available at destinations (but should be booked in advance).   Where these are available at a destination we have included the telephone number for you to phone to book these prior to the excursion date.   If you wish to take your own scooter you will need to book 2 wheelchair spaces and a seat on the bus (ie you pay a supplement to your fare equivalent to two further fares).

If no places are available your name will be placed on the reserve list and no payment is required unless you are subsequently contacted and offered a place.

If payment is not received within 7 days your place will be offered to a person on the reserve list.

If you cancel your place after payment has been received and your booking has become a confirmed booking, we regret that no refund can be given unless we are able to fill your place from the reserve list. If, through unforeseen circumstances, it becomes necessary for ReadiBus to cancel an excursion, a full refund of monies paid will be refunded to you at our earliest opportunity.

If you book with a friend from a different part of Reading it may not be possible to travel on the same bus if more than one bus is travelling.   The buses will, however, rendezvous at the destination.

If you wish to be picked up at an address that is not your home address, or dropped off after the excursion at a different address than your home address, then you will need to advise us of this in advance as changes cannot be made on the day.

Admission charges and food are not included in the price of the excursion, unless otherwise stated.
